SUMMARY:45th Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend
DESCRIPTION:BARREL TASTING – ONE WEEKEND ONLY – March 3 – 5\, 2023 – 11:00 am – 4:00 pm each day\nOfficial Map of Participating Wineries – Wine Road \nJoin us as we celebrate our 45th Annual Barrel Tasting wine event! This is your chance to sample wines from the barrel\, talk to winemakers and explore the beautiful Alexander\, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys located in Sonoma County\, Healdsburg\, Santa Rosa\, and more. \nBarrel Tasting is not a food pairing or themed event.  It’s all about the WINE…many wineries offer “futures” on their barrel samples. This is a chance to purchase wine now\, often at a discount\, then come back to the winery when the wine is bottled\, typically 12-18 months from now. Many wines are so limited\, buying futures is your only chance to purchase them. \n$85.00 Early Bird Weekend Ticket (Jan 17-31) \n$95.00 Weekend Tickets (purchased after Jan. 31) \n$75.00 Sunday Only \n$10.00 Designated Driver \nYour Ticket Includes: \n\nBarrel Sampling at all participating wineries (minimum of 3 tastes at each winery)\, some wineries may charge an additional fee for current vintages (refer to Event Program)\n\nAttendees will receive a tasting glass & wristband upon check-in. Designated Drivers are given a different color wristband and they are not served wine. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. \nWe will no longer be providing Wine Road Mugs to Designated Drivers\, we will now be donating the entire Designated Driver ticket money to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.  \nFor compliance with Sonoma County “best practices” for events we MUST enforce a limited number of people checking in at each winery location. We cannot make exceptions\, once a winery has reached their limit for check-ins you will need to select another winery and check-in at that location. \nAll buses are banned from Wine Road events. A van is not a bus\, but a bus of any size is just that – a bus. Buses are not allowed. Wineries will turn you away at the parking lot. \nREFUND POLICY: Sales are FINAL and non – refundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who will miss the event. The ticket is valid only on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates.  \nSales END Monday February 27 at 7pm.  \nThere will be NO Sales at the Door. \nComplete Event Details & List of Participating Wineries – Click Here \nEvent Map: BT 2023 \nNeed a place to stay? Click Here for Barrel Tasting Weekend Lodging Specials. \nEVENT DETAILS & THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW…. \n\nYou are required to select just your starting winery\, then are welcome to visit any & all of the wineries that are participating in this year’s wine tasting event throughout the weekend.\nEach participating winery is limited to 50 check-in registrations. When a winery has sold out as a check in their winery name is “crossed out” on the list and will not be able to accept any more check-ins.\nWineries with an * next to their name have requested no groups of 8 or more.\nAttendees will receive a tasting glass & wristband upon check-in.\nDesignated Drivers are given a different color wristband and they are not served wine.\nDesignated Drivers must be 21 years of age or older.\nBe prepared to show your wristband at each winery you visit to let wineries know you’ve checked-in & are an event participant.\nYou will need to keep your wristband on for both days – We do not replace wristbands.\nEach person in your party will need to be present when checking in\, wineries need to check ID’s & attach wristbands to each attendee.\nTicket admits 1 person into the event.\nBe prepared to show your photo I.D. – No I.D. = no admittance.\nAll Wine Road events are for adults only… NO ONE under the age of 21 is allowed to attend Barrel Tasting -including no babies or children of any age.\nIf you lose or forget your glass it will be $5.00 for a new one.\nNo replacement for lost wristbands\, a new one must be purchased.\nPlease do not bring dogs to Barrel Tasting.\nSunday Only tickets will be able to check in on Sunday only.\nParticipating wineries will stop pouring at 4:00 on event weekends\, even if their normal tasting hours are later.\nPlease Help Us With Our Goal Of Responsible Wine Service… No winery will continue to serve or sell wine to any guest who appears intoxicated\, even if they have a limo or designated driver.\nEvent takes place Rain or Shine.\n\n  \nFAQ’s \n1. Is my registration/ticket transferrable to another person? Yes\, all they need is a copy of your pdf Ticket and they must check in at the winery you chose to start at \n2. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Either print it or show it on your phone and your photo ID for age verification \n3. The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes that is fine\, as long as they have a copy of your pdf Ticket and a valid ID when checking in \n4. Can I switch my starting Winery? We cannot change your starting location. You must check in at the winery you chose at registration \n5. Can a Designated Driver be under 21? Designated Drivers must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. \nShare this:\n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n Like this:Like Loading...

SUMMARY:Sunday Seminar: The Barrel Affect
DESCRIPTION:Winemakers make a variety of decision when it comes to their craft. The use of oak barrels in aging wine is a complex series of considerations – the age of the barrel\, what is the right amount of toast\, and where is the forest where the oak tree grew. \nWinemaker Joe Nielsen loves to test out all these different elements when choosing barrels. In this fascinating seminar\, he will lead you through a tasting of the same variety and vineyard aged in different barrels to see how it affects the final outcome. \nBUY TICKETS \nShare this:\n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n Like this:Like Loading...

SUMMARY:RAM'S GATE YOGA AT THE POND
DESCRIPTION:Join Ram’s Gate Winery and Nadra McAuliffe of Lion Heart Yoga for our Summer Series of Yoga at the Pond. Surrounded by vineyards and facing our willow lined pond\, the class focuses on making the body-mind-spirit connection through the moving flow of vinyasa and postures to build strength and flexibility. \nAfter the class\, enjoy a glass of one of our popular summer wines and light bites created by Executive Chef Ruby Oliveros. \nAbout Nadra McAuliffe\nNadra found yoga in 2007 when she realized the importance this practice can have on each of us individually\, not just physically\, but mentally and emotionally. Her love of the practice and realization of how it has affected her life led her to become a certified yoga teacher with more than 300 hours of intensive training and 1500 hours of teaching experience. She continues to study and deepen her own practice which has led her to develop her own style\, which she calls Lion Heart Yoga.
